919-552-3421

Pastor Mark Fenn delights in seeing people brought to the Lord. He is dedicated to both living a Christ-like life and inspiring others to do the same. Mark currently serves as the Senior Pastor for Evangel Church, providing Biblical teaching and spiritual guidance, along with leadership for two associate pastors and a staff of volunteers.

Mark is originally from Alabama. After serving in the Air Force, he remained in Fayetteville, North Carolina and founded Mastercut Landscaping Company, which he ran for 15 years. Called into service for the Lord, Mark sold his successful business in 2008 to enter full-time ministry. He began work on a bachelor of arts in Biblical Studies through Carolina Bible College while fulfilling the position of Sunday School Superintendent at Mount Carmel Pentecostal Holiness Church. From there, God’s plan led Mark to The Now Church as Site Pastor where he contributed to the growth of the church through development of church programs and community events. In 2014, Mark, and his family, made a move in faith by becoming the Senior Pastor at Evangel Church in Fuquay-Varina,North Carolina. In two years, Mark has been able to strengthen both the physical aspects of the church as well as the spiritual relationships of the church members.

In November 2016, Mark was honored to be one of only 15 Americans chosen by Sherlock Bally, of Sherlock Bally Ministries, to travel to Israel in a ministerial capacity. Humbled by the experience, Mark has a renewed spirit of joy in the Lord and a desire to share the message of God’s love with both believers and non-believers.

Mark and his wife Leigh Ann, an elementary school teacher, live in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina with their daughter Jordan, a hairdresser, and their son Logan, a university student.  Mark is ordained through Destiny Now School of Ministry and licensed through the North Carolina IPHC.

Associate Pastor - Music Ministry: Rev. Mike Manning

For Pastor Mike Manning, praising the Lord through music is not just something to do on Sunday morning, it is his calling. Music, faith, and family have been a constant in his life, and have served as the foundation for more than 30 years of leading God’s people through preaching, teaching, pastoring, and dynamic worship.

Pastor Mike and his wife, Dawn, have traveled the United States helping people develop and strengthen their relationship with the Lord at revivals, conventions, seminars, camp meetings, and youth camps. In 2016, he began leading the worship team at Evangel Church, which includes Dawn and their daughter, Celeste, and son, Tyler. The family’s musical roots are steeped in Southern Gospel quartet music, as well as Contemporary praise and worship. This musical anointing enables them to bridge the gap between what WAS and IS in the Body of Christ.

Blessed with natural talent, Pastor Mike has been performing Gospel music both in churches and with professional country and gospel singers since he was nine-years-old. He received his bachelor’s degree with Cum Laude honors in Pastoral Theology with an emphasis in Music Theory from Lee University in Tennessee, and is currently working on a Master’s in Education from Eastern Carolina University. Pastor Mike has authored several books and his family, The Manning Family Singers, perform regularly around North Carolina.
